Did you know… 64% of Thrive clients live with a disability - compared to roughly 23% of Oregon’s adult population*? Why is our number so much greater? There are many reasons- disabled individuals face exceptionally high rates of housing insecurity due to systemic barriers: fixed or low income that falls significantly short of market-rate rents, inaccessible housing supply, and discrimination, to name a few.

Navigating resources and self-advocacy can be challenging for anyone, but it can be a huge hurdle when someone faces communication, understanding, mobility, or other health barriers.

This is where Thrive comes in! We see the joy and knowledge that folks with disability bring to our world. Our unique service model - meeting people in places and ways accessible to them - opens doors for folks. Working on what our clients want to work on, at a pace that works for them- our work is individualized for each person who comes to see us.

Honoring each person’s uniqueness and walking alongside them in whatever journey they are on makes our world tick!
