Petra Marmon joined the Thrive Central Oregon team in December 2020 as a Community Outreach Advocate- Bilingual, and we are so happy to have her!
Petra has been living in Central Oregon for over 25 years. She spent the last 6 years working as a Medical Assistant in Family Medicine and Endocrinology (Diabetes Specialty). While working closely with the Latinx community, she grew a passion for helping others navigate through resources, teaching her patients, as well as providing Spanish Medical Interpreting services to non- English speaking families.
Thrive has been the amazing bridge to continue to connect with people in our community as well as pursue her degree at Central Oregon Community College as a Bilingual Registered Nurse. She is married with two beautiful daughters. She enjoys singing mariachi and banda music to her daughters, cooking, and being outdoors, traveling to Mexico, and family movie nights.
