This month, meet Alex! Alex shares a little about himself and what brought him to Thrive.

1. Tell us a little about yourself - anything you want to share.

I love reading, podcasts, going on walks, and hanging out with my dog, Gus.

2. How long have you lived in Central Oregon and/or what brought you here?

I’ve lived in Central Oregon for almost four years. I moved here with my wife after finishing graduate school at the University of Oregon.

3. What brought you to Thrive?

I am passionate about housing issues and wanted to work directly with people experiencing housing insecurity in Central Oregon.

4. What do you like about the Thrive team so far?

I appreciate that the team consistently steps up to support each other. I also appreciate our monthly brunch-lucks!

5. Do you have a favorite book, song or quote you'd like to share?

I’m currently reading The Three Ecologies by Felix Guatarri
