For this month’s staff highlight, we talked with Emily to learn more about her and what inspired her to work with Thrive. Although she recently moved to Bend, Emily grew up in Eugene and graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Oregon. In her free time, she enjoys a good day of snowboarding, hiking with her dog and partner, and working out.
When asked what brought her to Thrive, Emily said, “I wanted to be on a path where I could make a direct impact on my community and truly feel good about what I do every day. Becoming a Community Outreach Advocate at Thrive felt like the perfect fit!” Emily said that she loves all the different clients she gets to meet as well as getting to work with an amazing team. “It’s a privilege to be a part of this wonderful community and help make a positive impact in Central Oregon,” she said.
Emily’s favorite quote that she would like to share is:
