This month we highlight one of our new team members: Sophie!
Sophie is a Community Outreach Advocate who came to us through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Program. She is originally from Colorado but fell in love with the Pacific Northwest when she went to college in Washington. Some of her favorite hobbies include tubing or being out on the water, listening to live music, reading, and spending time with friends.
When asked what has been her favorite part about working with Thrive she said,
“I love the people; co-workers and clients. My coworkers are all so passionate about the work they are doing and I have already learned so much from them. I have loved getting to build relationships with clients as well and I feel so grateful to be a part of their journeys.”
One of Sophie’s favorite quotes right now is “The Best is Yet to Come” because it reminds her to stay hopeful during dark times.
