Team Highlight: Bri

For this month’s newsletter, we are highlighting one of our Community Outreach Advocates, Bri Mickel! Growing up in Bend, she developed a love for the outdoors from a young age. In her downtime, she enjoys exploring new trails, discovering hidden waterfalls, and embarking on grand adventures with her fiance and adorable pup, Ziggy!

When asked what brought her to Thrive, Bri said, “Knowing that someone is for you, is a powerful thing. Thrive Central Oregon’s commitment to honoring individuals and advocating for our community members was something that really stood out to me. I became eager to be a part of an organization that truly values individuals and their needs and seeks to make a positive impact with every opportunity.” 

When she is at work, Bri said that she is inspired by both her coworkers and the community for their resilience and bravery in showing up and choosing to make a difference, no matter what. “Every single day I am inspired,” she said. 

Bri’s favorite quote that she wanted to share is:
