Team Highlight: Feliciana

This month Feliciana tells us a little about herself and what brought her to Thrive.

Tell us a little about yourself!

F: I currently live in Madras and will be graduating with my Associate of Science degree in June. I love hiking, snowboarding and reading. My current hobby is figuring out how to turn my lawn from being overgrown weeds into grass.

I have lived in Central Oregon all my life and primarily grew up in Warms Springs but have lived all over Central Oregon. I have chosen to stay in Central Oregon because this is where my community is at and I love being out in the community and helping however needed.

What brought you to Thrive? 

F: I applied for Thrive because I wanted to start working directly with people and help them find resources to further their journey. I have always felt the need to help and had originally went to college for nursing however had learned it wasn't the field for me. What drew me to Thrive is that it is a client led organization and I loved the idea of assisting those who are taking steps to help themselves.

What do you like about the Thrive team so far? 

F: My favorite part of the Thrive team is the support we provide each other. Whether through check-ins, sharing resources, or bringing food.
